How to run windows on a mac

Mr Crabapples has commented on his experiences of running Windows on a Mac?

Mr C is using Fusion, whilst I have been using Parallels. Most of the time I run Windows it is usually just to show people how I can run Windows on my MacBook. Why is this? I suppose it comes down to performance. When Parallels is running, it causes my lovely MacBook pro to limp along like an asthmatic ant carrying some heavy shopping. So I tend to look for ways to avoid running Windows. For example I put up with Entourage, when Outlook is SO much better. Perhaps if the performance issues went away I would begin to virtualize more? Who knows.

Maybe I should follow Mr C’s lead and download the Fusion 30 day demo…

Where are the reviews of Tiger Woods 2008 for Wii?

I have been looking for reviews of EA Sports’ Tiger Woods 2008 for the Wii which was meant to have been released yesterday.

I rented Tiger 07 over the weekend, and was very disappointed. I have always loved the Tiger Games – even if they release incremental updates year after year. The Wii, I had thought, would have been a perfect platform for a golf game. Unfortunately, the 2007 version was utterly annoying to play. It was painfully obvious that it was the PS2 port with (seemingly) a few shell scripts thrown underneath to capture the movement of the wiimote.

I was hoping a lot of my gripes would be fixed in the 2008 version, and if so I would buy it (I am desperate for a golf game). However, I have been unsuccessful in locating any reviews for this latest release.

IPhone Unlocked?

Apparently so! This took a lot longer than I would have predicted.

AT & T should not be too upset. I mean, if you buy an IPhone you are tied to a 2 year contract anyway, and so AT & T will only potentially lose 3 years contract money (They have a 5 year exclusivity deal with Apple).

The question is who will be bothered to change carriers after 2 years?
Another question would be does anybody offer a better unlimited data plan that $20 a month?
