Considering what I do I found this article rather interesting. Ripon is only a small town, and yet they are embracing the CCTV technology wholeheartedly.
I am always dubious about the reports that CCTV does not lower crime, as what the article does not state is that the same report concluded that the although the crime rate in some areas was not immediatly cut, the prosecution success rate went through the roof… Ahh selective reporting at its best.
