Careful using your iphone on a plane
ATA Airlines harassed a guy who was using his iphone in flight.
The iphone was in “airplane” mode – i.e. no radio emissions, but they still insisted it was against FAA regulations to have a cell phone turned on. The ATA flight crew had the police escort the guy off the plane, and tried to charge him. From Casey’s account it appears that the ATA flight crew were being a little rash and incompetent.
I just hope I do not have this problem, otherwise my long flight down under that I have to take in a few weeks will not be fun 🙁
