IPhone Unlocked?
Apparently so! This took a lot longer than I would have predicted.
AT & T should not be too upset. I mean, if you buy an IPhone you are tied to a 2 year contract anyway, and so AT & T will only potentially lose 3 years contract money (They have a 5 year exclusivity deal with Apple).
The question is who will be bothered to change carriers after 2 years?
Another question would be does anybody offer a better unlimited data plan that $20 a month?
Taken these things into consideration I think this is just going to drive IPhone sales even harder as the end user sees an “option” in their future.
Heck, it makes me want to get one even more!
