I think stems from the modern (?) trend of planning wedding’s a long time in advance. My lovely wife and I got married within 6 months of my proposal. This only seems to happen now when there is a pregnancy involved. Oh, well. Maybe its just a sign of the times, or maybe I am just completely wrong.
