On Trip to Mars, NASA Must Rethink Death

On Trip to Mars, NASA Must Rethink Death:
NASA has begun to ponder practical and ethical questions of exploration.

As I have a geeky fascination with space exploration and especially Mars, I found the article above Interesting.  It is the first time in my memory that NASA has looked into the realities of deep space exploration.

I have no comment on the moral or ethical issues at hand other than to say that if we want to explore our solar system and beyond we have to accept the unfortunate truth that some people will die, and there is not a lot we can do about that when it happens.  Especially when the explorers are millions of miles away.

Harry to fight for Granny and Country

Prince Harry is definitly going to be deployed to Iraq.  He will partake in a six month tour.

Yes, there are still those that do so in the UK, but there are always bad apples in every barrel. It is now part of the night out to prebook taxis, look at bus schedules etc. My experiences here are that people just wing it and postpone the decision until they are not in a state to make a good one.
